Workflow Automation Integration Specialist
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We’re a Canberra-based infrastructure outfit building a reliable/stable, active digital management system behind the scenes. It’s an ongoing project with momentum — we’ve laid the groundwork and nailed the big picture, now we need someone exceptional to help execute.

The Job?
We’re after someone highly intelligent, creative, and practical who can help bring our digital backend to life. You’ll be helping to:
- Build workflows using Google Sheets, Forms, Docs (automation, protection, exports)
- Convert Obsidian/Markdown content into formal client outputs (PDFs, Excel, Word)
- Set up version control, notification alerts, document logs
- Handle JSA, SWMS, safety records, RF plans, training registers
- Automate smart tools using Node-RED or similar (IoT-style logic flows, sensors, triggers, alerts)
- Connect systems using Matrix.org (internal ops comms), and work with LLMs for auto-generating docs, logs, and workflows
Tools in the Stack?
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script, Forms, Docs)
- Obsidian (Zettelkasten/second brain model)
- Markdown everywhere
- Node-RED or similar (logic flows and dashboard automation)
- Pandoc or export tooling
- Matrix.org (comms integration)
- GPT / AI tools (for smart document support)
Who You’ll Be Working With?
The project lead is on the tools daily (high-risk fieldwork), so you won’t be micromanaged — but you will be guided.
You’re working with someone who understands all systems conceptually but doesn’t have the time to sweat every detail.
You’ll get direct answers, support, and ideas — and your ideas will be heard and appreciated.
We’re not a startup trying to look cool — we’re the real deal, in the field, building things that need to work under pressure.
You’ll get feedback — clear, practical, and never childish. If you can’t take it without cracking the shits, don’t apply.
Trial First — No Time Wasters!
We’ll start as a paid task session — build a quick win, get a feel. If it clicks, we’ll keep going.
This is not a full-time job. It’s a contract role for someone sharp and proactive, with plenty of follow-on work if you nail it.
We have big ideas, we test things fast, and we’re looking for someone who likes solving problems and tuning systems over time.
