Urgent Omron-ABB Integration
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need a specialist who can quickly integrate an Omron PLC with an ABB variable-frequency drive to push a manufacturing line toward full process automation. The PLC program is already handling basic I/O, but the drive still operates in stand-alone mode; I want tight, reliable command and feedback between the two so speed set-points, fault signals and status words are exchanged in real time.
Because production targets are slipping, the work has to begin right away and finish as soon as technically possible. I am open to remote implementation if you can guide my maintenance team through wiring checks and parameter changes, otherwise I can provide secure remote access to CX-Programmer / Sysmac Studio and the ABB drive’s commissioning tool.
Deliverables I expect:
• Updated Omron logic with all drive control and monitoring blocks
• Correctly mapped fieldbus or hard-wired signals, fully tested in manual and auto modes
• A brief commissioning report outlining parameter lists, I/O maps and any future service notes
