Upgrade Excel Project Management Tool

I run all of my project tracking, milestones, and status updates from a single Excel workbook and it has become unwieldy. I want to migrate the entire process into a modern environment—Power BI for visual, drill-down dashboards and, where it makes sense, Python scripts to automate the heavy lifting that Excel formulas currently handle.
Key capabilities the new solution must cover are real-time data visualization, fully automated reporting (daily and weekly), interactive dashboards that executives can filter on the fly, and auto-triggering of e-mail or Teams notifications whenever tasks slip or budgets cross preset thresholds.
The current data lives in multiple worksheets; everything will be provided in a clean XLSX plus a short process map so you can see the existing workflow. Feel free to recommend best-fit architecture—native Power BI, Python-backed API calls, or a mix—so long as the final experience is intuitive for non-technical users.
Deliverables expected:
• A Power BI (.pbix) file with linked data model, visuals, and drill-through pages
• Python scripts (if used) with clear comments and a one-page README explaining how to run or schedule them
• Setup notes that show how to refresh data and adjust triggers without touching code
• A brief video or live walk-through so my team can start using it immediately
