Tosca FTP Upload Automation
Budget: ₹600 – ₹5,000 INR
I am setting up an end-to-end automation flow in Tricentis Tosca and need a specialist who can make Tosca reliably push files to an FTP location in my Linux environment. The scope is limited to file uploads only—no downloads or full directory sync at this stage.
You will connect Tosca to the target FTP server, build reusable modules or test cases that pick up files from a configurable local path, and confirm successful transfer on the remote side. The solution has to run unattended in Linux-based execution lists and fit smoothly into the standard Tosca Commander workflow, with clear parameterisation for host, credentials, port and folder paths.
Deliverables
• Tosca modules or templates that perform the file upload over FTP
• A short read-me (or comments in Tosca) explaining how to adjust paths, credentials and file name patterns
• Proof of concept run or screen-capture showing a successful upload executed from Linux
Acceptance criteria
• Upload completes without manual intervention and returns a green status in Tosca
• Any transfer error is reported back to Tosca with a descriptive message
• Configuration can be changed without touching the module logic
If you have prior experience integrating Tosca with external protocols or have scripted FTP actions within Tosca before, I’d like to see a quick example or summary of what you’ve done.
