Spotify Playlist Automation System (n8n + Google Sheets + Spotify API)
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m building a structured playlist automation system and looking for a developer who’s comfortable working with n8n and the official Spotify API.
The idea is to create a workflow that reads a selected track from Google Sheets, automatically generates a new playlist titled after that song and artist, writes an optimized description, uses the original album artwork as the playlist cover, and then fills the playlist by placing the selected track first and randomly adding 20 songs from a predefined pool. The system should run on a schedule (around 3 playlists per day) and log the results back into the sheet.
Everything must be built using Spotify’s official API (OAuth-based), cleanly structured, and scalable for future expansion. Experience with automation systems, API integrations, and handling OAuth properly is important.
