Smartsheet Expert Needed to Audit & Optimize Existing Operations System
Project Overview
We are a growing operations-driven company with an existing Smartsheet system that manages daily workflows, reporting, and project tracking.
The system works — but not efficiently.
We need an experienced Smartsheet developer/architect to audit, restructure, and optimize our current environment so it operates like a scalable operational engine instead of a collection of sheets.
This is NOT a beginner-level setup project.
Current State
Active Smartsheet workspace used for operations
Cross-sheet references and automations in place
Management dashboards built
Increasing project volume causing strain
Manual workarounds and QC errors creeping in
Scope of Work
Phase 1 – Audit & Architecture Review
Review existing sheets, workflows, automations, and reports
Identify inefficiencies, structural weaknesses, and risk areas
Provide written improvement plan with recommended architecture
Phase 2 – System Redesign & Optimization
Restructure sheets and cross-sheet references
Improve automation logic
Reduce manual input and duplication
Implement better data validation/error prevention
Streamline dashboards for leadership visibility
Improve scalability for higher project volume
Phase 3 – Documentation & Handoff
Document new system architecture
Provide workflow map
Conduct virtual walkthrough/training session
Required Experience
Advanced Smartsheet development (5+ years preferred)
Complex formulas and cross-sheet logic
Automation workflows
Dashboard architecture
Experience fixing poorly structured builds
Strong operational workflow thinking (not just sheet building)
