Smart Auto-Bid Bot Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a small, reliable bot that can work on a freelance marketplace and quietly run my bidding process for me. The core job is simple but must be done well:
• As new projects appear, the script scans the description, matches it against a set of keywords I will supply, and—if it finds a match—submits a tailored bid automatically.
• After bidding, it keeps an eye on the project, adjusting or withdrawing the bid according to updated information or my predefined rules.
• No client-messaging feature is required right now; accuracy and speed in bidding and smart monitoring are the priorities.
You may use the marketplace’s public API if available, or fall back to headless automation with Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer—whichever is most stable. Please build in simple JSON or YAML configuration for:
– keyword lists
– bid text template variables
– frequency of checks / updates
Deliverables
1. Well-commented source code (Python, Node.js, or another mainstream language you propose).
2. Setup guide that lets me run the bot on a VPS with cron or an always-on background process.
3. Quick demo video or screenshare proving the bot places, edits, and cancels bids correctly in real time.
Acceptance criteria: the bot must place at least five test bids on live or sandbox projects matching the keyword list, show a log of its activity, and update or cancel a bid when I change a rule in the config file.
