Python Script Developer for YouTube-to-WordPress Automation

Project Overview

We’re looking for a practical Python automation developer to build a small, focused script that takes YouTube URLs from Google Sheets and publishes AI-generated articles as draft posts in WordPress.

This is not a UI job. No dashboards. No over-engineering.

What the Script Must Do

Read YouTube URLs from a Google Sheet

Pull transcripts if available

Conditionally transcribe only when a toggle column = YES

Send content to OpenAI with a supplied prompt

Do light web enrichment (title-based)

Create draft posts in WordPress via REST API

Mark rows as processed / error

Log failures without breaking the run

Be cron-friendly
