Python Automation for Windows Tasks

I’m looking for an experienced Python developer who can create a set of automation scripts that run smoothly on Windows. The goal is to streamline three everyday activities:
• File management – automatically sort, rename, archive, and back up files and folders according to rules I’ll provide.
• Data processing – read raw CSV/Excel data, perform basic transformations (cleaning, merging, simple calculations with pandas), and output tidy reports.
• Email handling – generate and send summary emails (via SMTP or Outlook integration) that attach the processed reports and log any delivery issues.
Here’s what I need delivered:
1. Well-structured Python scripts (Python 3.x) with clear functions and readable comments.
2. A simple configuration file (JSON/YAML) so I can adjust folder paths, email credentials, and processing parameters without touching the code.
3. Step-by-step setup guide plus a short video or screenshots showing the scripts running on Windows.
4. Basic error handling and logging so failures are captured in a log file.
A mid-sized budget has been set aside, so I expect a functional prototype first, followed by one round of refinements once I test it on my machine. Familiarity with libraries such as pandas, openpyxl, smtplib, shutil, logging, and pywin32 is ideal. If you can have the initial version ready within a week, let’s get started.
