Playwright TypeScript E2E Automation

I need a suite of robust end-to-end tests written in Playwright with TypeScript that exercise the critical user journeys in my web application. The focus is exclusively on browser automation, and the tests must execute reliably in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Here’s what I expect at the end of the engagement:
• Clean, readable test scripts in a dedicated repository (or branch) that follow Playwright’s page-object best practices.
• A concise README explaining how to install dependencies, run the tests locally, and trigger them headlessly.
• Configuration that makes cross-browser execution effortless—one command should spin up the suite in Chrome, another in Edge (Playwright CLI flags are fine).
• Clear pass/fail reporting, preferably using Playwright’s HTML reporter or an equivalent you recommend.

Acceptance criteria
• All tests complete without flaky failures in CI and locally.
• The scripts handle authentication, waiting, and teardown gracefully—no hard-coded sleeps.
• Running `npx playwright test --project=chromium` and `--project=edge` yields green runs.
