Mitsubishi VLS to TDB Conversion

Job ID: 40318515

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need my existing Mitsubishi PLC program—currently written in VLS—fully migrated into the Intuitive Controller’s TDB environment. The machine relies on a mix of straightforward digital and analog I/O, a network of timers and counters, and several inter-locking sequences that coordinate the overall cycle, so every one of those behaviours must come across unchanged.

You will have a copy of the original code and some ladder comments, but the documentation is thin. Because of that, I’ll lean on your ability to read the rungs, map addresses, and recreate the intent inside TDB rather than just doing a line-for-line port.

Key expectations
• A TDB project file that reproduces all existing I/O, timers, counters, alarms, and complex machine sequences.
• Internal comments and tag names that make future maintenance easy.
• A quick run-through in simulation (or with your bench PLC) showing each major step firing as expected.
• A concise migration report summarising what changed, any assumptions you had to make, and anything I should verify on the live machine.

I can provide remote access or recorded video of the process in action if that helps you test. Let me know your preferred workflow and roughly how long the conversion and bench test will take once you have the source files.
