Manufacturing Automation System - with Servo or Stepper Motors

Job ID: 40096795

Budget: $25 – $50 CAD

I’m looking to automate a robot end-of-arm-tool which has six stepper or maybe servo motors. The goal is a seamless, end-to-end system that reduces manual intervention, speeds up throughput, and has repeatable positional results.

Here’s what I need:

• A complete control architecture – PLC or industrial PC based – including electrical schematics, simplified layout, and detailed I/O lists
• PLC, HMI programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or your proposed platform) with clear, well-commented logic and operator-friendly screens, with servo/stepper motors
• Recipes (and manual override parameter adjustment) management function to switch product variants without re-programming
• A Recipe Set-Up mode must be made available to create new recipes
• There should be the ability to store over 10-recipes
• Selecting a recipe on the mini-HMI screen should position the six motors in a specified position and lock them in place while the robot goes about its daily business.

Acceptance criteria
1. The program and hardware must function and the position the of end-of-arm-tools must be as set-up in the "Recipe Set-Up" mode.
2. The position of the end-of-arm-tools must be maintained throughout the shift, until an alternate program has been selected. This may require brakes integrated into the hardware and Controls System.

I'd like to see your portfolio of automation projects. Let’s discuss your proposed timeline and any questions you might have so we can move swiftly into design and build as I do have the mechanical/physical end-of-arm-tool design completed and am now on the electrical design and Spec. portion.
