Internal Workflow Automation Setup
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m building “SmartWork Flow,” an internal system that will replace the repetitive leg-work my team still does by hand. Right now every task lives in Asana, while data is scattered between Google Sheets and Notion and updates get pasted into Slack channels. I want those pieces to speak to each other automatically.
Phase 1 priority
• Project-progress report generation: At the click of a schedule—or better, a trigger—data should be pulled from Sheets and Notion, formatted, and posted straight into the relevant Slack channels as well as stored in a shared folder.
Subsequent passes can cover approvals and notification logic, but the report pipeline has to be rock-solid first.
Core requirements
• Bi-directional connections among Asana, Google Sheets, Notion and Slack (Zapier, Make, custom API work or a blend—whichever is leanest and future-proof).
• Auto-assignment of tasks and reminders inside Asana based on workflow rules.
• Real-time dashboard that shows status at a glance and lets any manager download the latest report.
• Minimal manual maintenance once the setup is complete.
Timeline is 10–14 days from kickoff, with testable progress in between. I’ll consider the work complete when I can watch a task move through the flow, see the report populate, and view the message arrive in Slack without touching a thing. If that excites you, let’s get started.
