Home Assistant Node-RED Automations
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Node-RED is already running as a native integration inside my Home Assistant instance and is talking to HA through the built-in WebSocket, so the groundwork is done. I now need an expert who can turn that foundation into a fully featured automation suite that touches every room and every common scenario in the house.
Scope of work I expect
• Draft a detailed scope document that outlines every planned flow, scene, and automation. These should cover energy optimization, security routines, lighting moods, climate scheduling, presence-aware actions, notification logic, and any other “modern and advanced” use cases you have successfully delivered before.
• Build time-based, event-triggered, and condition-based flows in Node-RED, making sensible use of sub-flows, templates, and reusable nodes so the system remains maintainable.
• Configure corresponding HA scenes and helper entities where relevant.
• Provide the JSON exports (flows) and any accompanying YAML or dashboard tweaks in a clean, import-ready format.
• Document the logic clearly inside Node-RED comments and in a short handoff guide.
Acceptance criteria
1. All flows import without errors, deploy cleanly, and survive an HA reboot.
2. Sample events confirm triggers fire as described in the scope document.
3. Scenes appear in HA UI with friendly names and correct entities.
4. Documentation is complete enough for me to extend or troubleshoot on my own.

When you place a bid, please propose a call time and be prepared to walk me through at least one previous Home Assistant + Node-RED project (screenshare or recorded demo is fine). If we are unable to schedule it or you are unable to demonstrate real experience, I will withdraw the invitation.
