Project Title: Google Forms (Quiz Builder) & Google Sheets Integration for 500-Question Test Bank
Project Overview
We are seeking an expert in Google Workspace automation (Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Add-ons) to create a robust, interactive, and self-scoring test bank. This project requires taking ~500 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) currently held in a Word/Excel document and bulk-importing them into a Google Form Quiz, then linking that form to a dynamic Google Sheet dashboard for performance tracking.
The final product must be a seamless, professional, and maintenance-free testing center that our audience can access via a simple URL.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
The selected freelancer will be responsible for the following three phases:
Phase 1: Data Preparation and Template Creation
Template Creation: Convert the raw question data (provided in a Word/Excel file) into a clean, structured Google Sheet template. This template must accurately separate the Question Text, Options (A, B, C, D), and the Exact Correct Answer Text.
Bulk Formatting: Prepare the entire 500-question dataset within the structured Google Sheet, ensuring consistency necessary for bulk import.
Phase 2: Google Form Quiz Setup and Import
Form Creation & Configuration: Create the main Google Form, setting it up as a Quiz with all necessary configurations (Point values, Shuffling question order, Immediate score release, etc.).
Bulk Import: Utilize a powerful Google Forms Add-on (e.g., Form Publisher, FormRanger, or Quiz Builder – freelancer to confirm the most efficient tool) to successfully import all 500 MCQs at once from the Google Sheet.
Answer Key and Scoring: Manually verify and assign the Answer Key and the corresponding Point Value (1 point per question) for all 500 questions, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Tracking Setup: Insert a required "User ID/Email" field at the beginning of the form to enable individual score tracking.
Phase 3: Statistics Dashboard Integration
Google Sheet Integration: Link the completed Google Form Quiz to a clean, dedicated Google Sheet for automatic response capture.
Dashboard Creation: Create a second tab within the Google Sheet named "Performance Dashboard."
Formula Implementation: Implement the necessary formulas (e.g., COUNTIF, FILTER, MAX, AVERAGE) to automatically calculate and display the following key metrics when a user's Email/ID is entered:
Total Attempts
Highest Score Achieved
Average Score Across All Attempts
Full Attempt History (A list showing the timestamp and score of every attempt by that specific user).
Final Testing: Conduct a minimum of 5 test submissions to confirm data is flowing correctly from the Form to the Sheet and that all formulas are accurate.
