Fix & Deploy Automation Script
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My existing Python automation script worked flawlessly on my local machine until recent library updates broke its dependency chain. I need it brought back to a clean, error-free state and then deployed to AWS so it can run continuously in the cloud.
You’ll start by auditing the codebase, updating or pinning packages in requirements.txt, and refactoring anything no longer supported. Once the script executes without warnings, the next step is to provision a lightweight AWS environment—Lambda, EC2, or another service you feel is the best fit—configure IAM roles, and set up logging so I can monitor runs from CloudWatch.
Deliverables
• Updated, fully functional Python script
• Clean requirements.txt with all dependencies resolved
• AWS deployment (infrastructure as code preferred) and a short README explaining how to redeploy or roll back
Acceptance criteria
– Script runs locally with python 3.x and passes a quick smoke test I’ll provide
– One-click or single-command deployment to AWS
– Clear documentation of any environment variables or secrets required
If you have solid experience fixing dependency issues and deploying automation scripts on AWS, you’ll find this straightforward. Let me know your approach and estimated timeline, and I’ll share repo access immediately.
