Finished Product Sheet Automation

I maintain a Google Sheet that tracks only the movement of finished products—raw materials and office supplies never enter the picture. I’d like an Apps Script (or equivalent no-code setup if you can hit the same result) that automates every repetitive step I now handle by hand: creating new rows, validating quantities, stamping dates, and keeping a clean audit trail.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Design and implement the script directly in the Sheet I share.
• Make sure it is easy for me to enable, disable, or adjust without touching code.
• Keep the logic laser-focused on finished products so nothing else can be logged by mistake.
• Provide clear inline comments plus a brief read-me so I know how to extend or tweak it later.

I haven’t locked the automation to a schedule or an on-edit trigger yet, so feel free to recommend what will be most robust.

All testing must be done on a copy of my file first; once it passes, you’ll migrate it into the live Sheet.

Hand-off is complete when your automation runs error-free and the documentation is in place.
