Excel expert to design an advanced data entry spreadsheet for construction projects.

We are looking for an experienced Excel/Google Sheets specialist to build an advanced data entry and tracking spreadsheet tailored for the construction industry. The tool should manage and automate progress claims, payments, variations, and generate clear project payment summaries. Prior experience designing spreadsheets for project management, finance, or construction claims will be highly valued.
Data accuracy is critical. Each input cell should include validation rules that catch typos, incorrect formats and out-of-range figures the moment they’re entered. A clean error message or colour highlight is fine; the goal is to stop bad data before it skews the reports.
Deliverables
• One fully functional Excel workbook with clearly named tabs for raw entries, calculations and dashboards
• Built-in validation rules and conditional formatting to enforce accuracy
• Automated summaries for budget, expenses and revenues that update as new rows are added
• A short, plain-language guide (PDF or within the file) describing where to enter data and how the reports work
Once the sheet passes a quick test with sample figures, the project is complete.
