Email Automation Setup Guidance

I want to start sending emails to potential customers but I’m still undecided between MailerLite and Kit. I don’t have an account on either platform yet, so I need someone who can quickly compare the two for my specific goals, recommend the right one, and then get everything up and running.

My main objective is straightforward: consistent, targeted emails that reach prospects and turn them into customers. I need help importing any addresses I already have while also putting the right tools in place to grow the list from scratch—signup forms, landing pages, or whatever each platform offers natively.

Because I expect to switch between pre-designed layouts when speed matters and fully custom templates when branding is critical, I’d like an initial library that includes a mix of both. Once the account is live, I’ll also need at least one automated sequence (welcome/onboarding or simple promo flow) so I can see the system working end-to-end before I take it over.

Deliverables:

• Contact list imported (with segmenting) and subscriber-growth features activated
• A starter set of email templates: some pre-designed, some custom, all brand-ready
