Electrical Engineer for Micro Data Center, Partner

Short Description
We are building a micro data center in Estonia (100–200 kW) and looking for a partner with an electrical engineering background to take ownership of the design, calculations, and electrical installation oversight.
Hybrid role: remote work + on-site presence in Estonia required.
Responsibilities
Design electrical schematics (power, wiring, single-line diagrams)
Calculate power equipment, cables, protection and control systems
Select appropriate equipment (switchgear, UPS, transformers, distribution)
Prepare technical specifications and bills of materials
Testing, commissioning, and fault diagnostics
On-site supervision and coordination during installation phases
Who We Need
Electrical engineer by education (formally — but experience and knowledge matter most)
Experience in power system design (data center experience is a plus, but not required)
Strong understanding of power electronics, converters, and automation
Ability to read and draw electrical diagrams
Familiar with design standards and regulations in Estonia
Must be able to be on-site in Estonia during key project phases (hybrid work model)
Format
Project-based partnership / one-time engagement per phase
Hybrid: remote work + on-site visits to Estonia (travel and accommodation covered separately)
Compensation: fixed fee per project or hourly rate
Language: English or Russian (Estonian is a plus)
