ERPNext Setup for Yarn Dyeing

Job ID: 40261969

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I need a seasoned ERPNext professional to take my small yarn-dyeing unit live on the platform. The scope covers four functional blocks—payroll, stock, workflows, and batch tracking—each adapted to the realities of textile processing.

Payroll first: the system must capture daily attendance, calculate salaries automatically, and manage all leave types without manual spreadsheets. On the inventory side I care about real-time yarn and chemical inventory levels, supplier management for purchase cycles, and accurate stock valuation that matches both FIFO and actual dye-lot costs.

Our production process relies on tight workflows. I want clearly defined task assignments that follow each order from grey yarn receipt through dye house, lab dips, and final dispatch. Key steps have to trigger process automation and approval flows so nothing stalls when I’m off-site.

Batch tracking is equally critical; dye-lots need traceable IDs that roll forward into packing slips and invoices. Any solution you propose should respect the standard ERPNext framework, avoiding heavy custom code unless a use case demands it.

Deliverables
• Configured ERPNext instance (latest stable version) hosted on my server
• Payroll module ready with attendance, salary, leave rules and test data
• Stock module with opening balances, supplier records, valuation method set, and sample transactions
• Workflow engine mapping our dyeing process, complete with automation and approval steps
• Batch tracking model for dye-lots integrated into production and inventory flows
• Brief hand-off documentation and two training sessions for my team

If you have rolled out ERPNext in spinning, weaving, knitting, or other textile plants, share those links or screenshots along with a short outline of your implementation approach. I’ll shortlist based on demonstrated domain knowledge and a clear step-by-step plan.
