Cross-Platform Functional Test Automation
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
I need my existing manual regression checklist turned into a maintainable automation suite that exercises every key user journey across two fronts: the public-facing web app and its matching desktop client.
Functional testing is the sole focus. For the web layer the suite must run reliably on Chrome, Firefox and Safari; for the desktop layer it should launch the Windows installer, drive the UI, and verify the same core workflows end-to-end.
You are free to choose the stack—Selenium, Playwright, Cypress and similar frameworks are all acceptable for the browser work, while WinAppDriver, Winium or FlaUI suit the desktop portion—provided the final solution can be checked into Git and triggered from a CI job (GitHub Actions or comparable service).
Deliverables
• Source-controlled, well-commented test scripts that cover the agreed regression scope
• A short README explaining setup, execution and adding new tests
• CI configuration that executes the suite headlessly on each push and publishes a clear pass/fail report
I’ll supply the current manual test cases, application builds, and environment credentials as soon as we start.
