Playwright Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Playwright Automation Test Engineer to build a complete end-to-end automation framework for our product. The freelancer must have strong hands-on experience with Playwright and the ability to deliver scalable, maintainable, and robust automation solutions.

Requirements

Strong experience with Playwright

Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver (optional)

Experience building automation frameworks from scratch

Strong in writing reusable test cases & automation scripts

Cross-browser & cross-platform testing

API testing (Playwright API / Postman)

CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / GitLab)

Good understanding of regression, smoke, sanity & E2E testing

Familiar with Git/version control

Responsibilities

Set up Playwright automation framework

Create automated test scripts for core user flows

Implement modular, scalable framework architecture (POM/component-based)

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines

Provide documentation & knowledge transfer

Ensure high code standards and best testing practices

Fully functional Playwright automation suite

Test scenario & execution documentation

CI/CD-enabled automated test runs

Final handover + KT session
