BigQuery-to-Notion Sync Automation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an expert in Make (Integromat) to build a robust scenario that synchronises specific tables and views from my Google BigQuery instance into an existing Notion database that serves as a live knowledge base for our AI assistants.
Scope and key requirements
• Filter source objects: read only tables or views carrying the label catalog=true.
• Per eligible object, create—or update if it already exists—a Notion record containing name, object type, source path, and a reliable sync-status flag.
• Compose a structured Notion page body that includes:
– an auto-generated description on first creation (we already use Claude for this, so you can call its API),
– the complete column list pulled from BigQuery,
– an empty “Notas para IA” section the team fills manually.
• Protect human edits: any manual changes inside Notion must never be overwritten, and records created directly in Notion should be left untouched.
• Schedule: run automatically once every 24 hours.
• Error handling: graceful retries, logging, and notification of failures.
• Stack: Google BigQuery API, Notion API, Make; Claude API for descriptions.
Deliverables
1. Make scenario exported as a share link or bundle, fully documented.
2. Field-mapping reference and step-by-step logic (or point to the Notion brief at https://www.notion.so/326ebe43945d8151a48aea25706f8db2).
3. Test evidence showing a successful daily run, skipped updates where content was manually edited, and correct page creation for new catalog=true objects.
4. Short hand-off guide so I can adjust scheduling or add future labels without breaking the flow.
If you’ve built similar BigQuery-to-Notion or Make automations before, I’d love to see them. Let’s get this syncing smoothly.
