Bahrain KUKA Robot Integration Expert
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m setting up a dedicated robotic milling cell in Bahrain that will run on KUKA KRC2 and KRC4 controllers, cutting both wood and foam on a daily basis. All the hardware is on site; what I need now is an experienced KUKA engineer who can take the lead on integration and ongoing maintenance once the system is live.
You’ll start by checking the mechanical and electrical installation that my local team has already completed, then move straight into network configuration, spindle I/O mapping, and KRL program optimisation. Once the robots are moving smoothly, I’ll rely on you to fine-tune the tool-center-point and base calibrations so we can achieve clean, accurate passes across large foam blocks and detailed wood parts.
Because these cells will run continuously, preventive maintenance routines and quick turnaround troubleshooting procedures are critical. I’d also like you to document your approach and walk my technicians through the day-to-day checkpoints so they can keep production up while you’re off-site.
Key deliverables
• Fully integrated KRC2 & KRC4 robots communicating with the milling spindle and safety PLC
• Verified calibration (TCP, bases, external axes if needed) with sample cut proving accuracy
• Written maintenance checklist and fault-finding guide tailored to our setup
• Knowledge-transfer session for two in-house operators
I’ll handle visa, flights, hotel, and local transport; you focus on bringing your hands-on KRL expertise and solid CNC/robotic milling background to get us cutting reliably from day one.
