Description:
I need an experienced PLC programmer to automate an industrial mixing process using Siemens TIA Portal and VirtualMakTCP version 820. The core requirement is implementing a PID control loop for temperature regulation as detailed in the project documentation.
Key Tasks:
Program the complete automated sequence:
Start and filling of Tanks 1 & 2 (valves B1, B2)
Transfer mixture to Tank 3 (valves B3, B4) when levels are reached
PID temperature control in Tank 3
Discharge mixture (valve B5) after maintaining setpoint temperature
System reset when Tank 3 is empty
Critical PID Implementation:
Normalize and scale analog temperature input (PV) and heater output
Configure and tune PID Compact block for precise temperature control
Achieve stable performance with minimal overshoot and fast settling time
Document PID tuning method (Kp, Ti, Td parameters)
Software (Mandatory):
