Automated Workflows for Custom CRM

In our CRM system we need to extend its functionality with new automation features, PDF report customization, and integrated email communication for each order.

Project Overview

Our goal is to streamline operations by automating routine CRM tasks and enhancing order-level communication and reporting. You’ll be working directly with our existing PHP/MySQL CRM system and database structure.

Responsibilities

System Review: Analyze current CRM workflows to identify areas where automation can reduce manual effort (e.g., data entry, reminders, follow-ups).

Automation Development: Build modules or scripts that trigger automatically on key events such as new lead creation, order status updates, or scheduled reminders.

PDF Report Customization: Enhance and tailor existing PDF reports to include more detailed information, improved layouts, and branding elements.

Email Integration:

Develop a feature to generate a unique email conversation link for each order.

Enable sending and receiving emails directly within the CRM, logged under each corresponding order.

Ensure all messages are traceable and easy to access.

Documentation & Handoff: Provide full technical documentation and a handover session so our internal team can manage and maintain the new features.

Database: MySQL

Additional tools, libraries, or schedulers may be used as long as they keep the CRM lightweight, secure, and maintainable.

Acceptance Criteria

All automations run reliably with full activity logging.

Each feature can be toggled on or off via the admin panel.

PDF and email features function seamlessly within the CRM interface.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a CRM developer with proven experience adding automation or customization features—whether for proprietary systems or platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM. Please share examples of similar projects you’ve completed.
