I need to stop opening my CAD/FEA package every time a parameter changes. The goal is to turn a repetitive, mechanical-engineering simulation into a one-click (or fully scripted) process. It is a physical simulation—solidly in the mechanical realm—so skills with tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, MATLAB, or Python-based FEA libraries will fit right in.

Current pain points:
• Manually updating geometry or material properties
• Launching the solver run-by-run
• Exporting results and reformatting them for plots or reports

What I’m after: a clean automation layer that lets me feed in a batch of input variables, fires the solver, captures outputs, and saves everything—results, logs, and basic visuals—to an organized folder structure. A command-line script is fine; a lightweight GUI is even better, as long as it works on Windows 10. Robust error handling, clear documentation, and commented code are must-haves so the workflow can be tweaked later without starting from scratch.
