Appium Android Automation Setup
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I already have my test suites written in Appium; what I am missing is a clean, reliable setup that runs them on high-end Android phones connected to my machine. Your job is to get me from “code in a repo” to “green tests on a plugged-in flagship device”.
Here is what I need:
• Configure the complete Appium environment on my workstation, including the right Java / Node versions, SDKs and platform-tools, so everything recognises a physical Android device instantly.
• Wire my existing test code into this environment, resolve any path or capability issues and make sure the tests launch, install the APK, and execute without manual taps.
• Provide a short run-through (screen share or concise step sheet) so I can reproduce the setup on another PC in the future.
Only Android is in scope; no iOS work is required. Testing must happen on a real, high-end handset, not an emulator or cloud farm. If we have to tweak desired capabilities for specific chipsets or OS builds, I will supply the device details once we start.
Once the test run completes end-to-end and I can repeat it on my side, the engagement is done. Let me know your preferred approach and how quickly you can jump in.
