Access Automation & Macro Specialist
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I need a seasoned Microsoft Access developer to transform an existing database into a fully-automated solution. The core of the job is building reliable VBA macros that will:
• pull data in and out of the system on demand or on a timer,
• generate polished reports automatically, and
• run scheduled housekeeping jobs so the database stays lean without manual intervention.
The current file is already in production, so your work has to slot in cleanly—no breaking existing tables, relationships, or front-end forms. I will provide a copy of the database, sample import files, and our reporting templates.
Acceptance will be based on:
1. One-click (or scheduled) import/export routines that log successes and errors.
2. Auto-generated reports matching the supplied layout, saved to PDF and emailed to a test address.
3. A scheduler macro that kicks off the above jobs at set intervals without keeping Access open on screen.
4. Clear inline comments plus a short document explaining how to adjust paths, times, and email settings.
