ABB RobotStudio RAPID Automation Setup
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have an ABB cell that needs to be taken from concept to a fully simulated, RAPID-driven production sequence inside RobotStudio. My goal is to automate a brand-new process, so I need both the offline programming and a reliable virtual simulation that I can hand straight over to commissioning when the time comes.
Here’s what I’d like delivered:
• A complete RAPID program for the station, written in good practice style (modular routines, clear comments, structured data).
• A RobotStudio simulation that mirrors the real cell—correct tool data, work objects, I/O mapping, cycle logic and safe home positions—so we can validate reach, cycle time and collision-free paths.
• A short hand-off document or video walkthrough explaining how to load the program onto the virtual controller, adjust key parameters and run the sequence.
Acceptance criteria: the simulation must run a full cycle without errors, meet the nominal takt time we discuss at project start, and generate a program that compiles cleanly on an IRC5 virtual controller set to the same system parameters.
If you are comfortable working directly in RobotStudio, crafting RAPID code from scratch and fine-tuning simulations for new automated processes, I’m ready to get this moving.
