Objective
Develop a software solution similar to TurboScriber, but specifically designed for remux and Blu‑ray workflows, capable of handling large files and producing Spanish subtitles (.srt) automatically. The software must also accept standard formats (MP3, WAV, MP4, SRT) to cover non‑remux cases.
Input Requirements
Remux/Blu‑ray files: .mkv up to 65 GB.
Audio formats: AC3, DTS, DTS‑HD MA, TrueHD, Atmos (inside .mka or .mkv).
Subtitle formats: .mks and PGS (image‑based).
Standard formats: MP3, WAV, MP4, SRT.
Processing Workflow
Automatic demuxing: Extract audio and subtitle tracks from .mkv.
ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition): Transcribe English audio with precise timestamps.
Translation: Convert transcription to Spanish automatically.
Subtitle handling: Process .mks and PGS directly, converting them to text and translating to Spanish.
Synchronization: Ensure timestamps align perfectly with audio/subtitles.
Conditional logic: If the remux/Blu‑ray contains Spanish audio but no Spanish subtitles, the system must skip subtitle generation, since the audio already fulfills that role.
Output
Export .srt in Spanish, synchronized with audio or subtitles.
Fully automated pipeline, no manual OCR or external conversion steps.
