BOM Profile & Plate Sorting
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have an Excel-based Bill of Materials generated from our models and need every line that represents a structural profile or a plate/sheet clearly flagged. Using both Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks you will:
• tag each qualifying item in a new “Type” column as Profile or Plate
• record its raw dimensions in a separate “Dimensions” column
• leave all other component rows untouched
I will give you the original BOM plus full access to the corresponding CAD files so you can double-check geometry whenever the description in the list is not obvious.
Deliverable: the same Excel file returned with the two new, fully completed columns.
Acceptance: every profile or plate correctly classified, dimensions formatted exactly as shown in the source cells (e.g., 100 × 50 × 3 mm), no data deleted or overwritten.
Turnaround is important, so tell me about projects where you have done similar BOM interpretation work in Inventor, SolidWorks, or both and how quickly you completed them.
