Revamp of Outdoor Modular Structure Design

Job ID: 40548541

Budget: $10 – $200 USD

Summary
I am looking for an engineer/designer to modify an existing project in Autodesk Revit. I have the source .RVT file and current PDF drawings.

The project is a small outdoor modular technical structure based on a steel frame. The current model has 5 internal sections, and the target version should be modified to 2–3 internal sections while keeping the general construction concept.

SCOPE OF WORK

- Modify the layout from 5 internal sections to 2–3 sections.
- Keep the structure without a fixed floor.
- Keep the possibility of lifting/moving the entire module as one unit.
- Change the structure from bolted to welded.
- Review and, if necessary, change the type of steel/profiles to better suit welded fabrication.
- - Adjust and simplify the steel frame, columns, beams, roof framing and internal divisions.
- Change the wall assembly:
- The sandwich panel should be placed on the outside of the steel frame to improve tightness and weather protection.
- On the inside, add a protective lining such as HDPE, PE, HPL or a similar impact-resistant board.
- The current solution, where the sandwich panel and inner protection board are inserted next to each other inside a channel profile, should be redesigned.
- Prepare fixing details for the external sandwich panels and internal protective lining.
- Update plans, elevations, sections and basic fabrication drawings.
- Prepare a steel profile and material schedule.
IMPORTANT DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

The structure will be used outdoors in changing weather conditions. The main goal is to improve tightness, durability, insulation and impact resistance of the internal walls.
