Mechanical Design Engineer / Primary Designer (High Voltage) Software: Autodesk Inventor Domain: High Voltage (up to 110kV) – Steelwork & Primary -- 2

Job ID: 40121893

Budget: €18 – €36 EUR

About the Role
Are you a specialist in Autodesk Inventor with a sharp eye for steel constructions within the energy sector? We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the primary engineering of high-voltage substations (up to 110kV), bridging the gap between 3D conceptual design and precise 2D manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities
You will focus on the Primary side of high-voltage engineering, specifically designing the steel structures (gantries, supports, and foundations) required for 110kV stations.
3D Engineering: Design complex steel structures and primary arrangements using Autodesk Inventor.
3D to 2D Translation: Translate your 3D models into high-quality, detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and general arrangement (GA) plans.

Technical Compliance: Ensure all steelwork designs meet the specific safety and clearance requirements for High Voltage (HV) up to 110kV.
Documentation: Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and electrical engineers. As the team is international, you will communicate effectively in English.

Requirements
You are a technical professional who understands how a drawing translates to the construction site. You combine spatial insight with strict attention to detail.
Software Mastery: Expert knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is a must. You are proficient in both 3D modeling and the 2D drawing environment.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience with High Voltage (HV) projects (up to 110kV). You understand Primary Engineering and steelwork construction.
Language: You are fluent in English (verbal and written). This is the working language of the project.
Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
