Inventor Sheet Metal Panel Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have several sheet-metal panels in the pipeline and I want to hand the 3-D modelling and detailing over to someone who lives and breathes Autodesk Inventor. Every panel will need to be fully defined in Inventor (parts and assemblies) and supported with manufacturing drawings that include a flat-pattern view ready for the laser or turret.
The panels themselves are more than simple rectangles; they carry slots and holes for hardware, bends and flanges for strength, plus formed features such as embossments and ribs. Where panels meet other parts, I will specify either welded seams or bolted connections, so the drawings must clearly call out weld symbols, hole tolerances and hardware notes.
Typical package I expect per panel:
• Inventor part (.ipt) with sheet-metal rules applied
• Assembly (.iam) if multiple pieces are involved
• 2-D drawing (.idw or .dwg) showing orthographic, isometric and flat-pattern views, bend lines, K-factor or bend radius data, and a concise BOM where required
I will supply reference models or sketches, material specs and any critical dimensions. Your job is to create clean, parametrically sound models that a fabricator can pick up and run with—no guessing, no re-work on my side.
Before we start, let me see one sample of your previous Inventor sheet-metal work. Once I’m confident we’re on the same wavelength, I’ll release the full batch and set up milestones per completed drawing set.
