Job Title: Design Hydraulic Universal Load Cell Calibration Machines (25t Horizontal & 100t Vertical) – FEA + Inventor Files + BOM

Project Overview:

Seeking an experienced mechanical/hydraulic designer to produce complete Autodesk Inventor files and detailed component lists for two load cell calibration machines. Fabrication will be done locally by our machinist; we require professional CAD files ready for fabrication.

Machines:

Horizontal Universal Testing Machine – 25t (both tension & compression setup, long 2 m tension section & 750mm compression)

Vertical Universal Testing Machine – 100t tension 1200 mm, compression 750 mm)

Scope of Work:

Deliverables:

Fully dimensioned Autodesk Inventor assembly and part files for both machines.

Hydraulic cylinder and jack layout including motor, pump, valves, and flow control positions.

Modular load cell mounting and fixture designs for tension and compression tests (spherical seats, clevises, adapters).

Bill of Materials/parts list: cylinders, motors, pumps, valves, fittings, fasteners, guides, bearings, etc.

Notes on hydraulic flow control, coarse/fine adjustment, and safe operation.

Optional: guidance for future integration of automatic / closed-loop control.

Technical Requirements:

Horizontal Universal 25t Testing machine:

Max load: 25t in tension or compression.

Tension section: minimum 2m travel.

Compression section: minimum 750 mm travel.

Hydraulic jack with 240 V motor, coarse + fine flow control.

Vertical 100t Universal testing machine:

Max load: 100t in tension or compression.

Tension section: minimum 1,200 mm travel.

Compression section: minimum 750 mm travel.

Hydraulic cylinder & 240 V motor with similar control as horizontal frame.

General:

Axial alignment of load path maintained with guides.

Mechanical stops and safety features included.

Skills Required:

Autodesk Inventor expert for high-load mechanical assemblies.

Hydraulic system design and cylinder/pump sizing.

Experience with load cell calibration rigs or similar high-force machines.

Deliverables Timeline:

Initial CAD concept: 4 weeks.

Final Inventor files and BOM: 8 weeks from project start.

Budget:

Fixed-price or hourly quote accepted; please include estimated hours.

Notes:

Fabrication will be handled locally — no shop work required from freelancer.

Precision CAD and complete Inventor files are essential for direct fabrication.

Regular updates and milestone reviews are required.
