The project objective & requirement is to automate the production of conventional dimensioned floor plans, elevations and sections, from a user configured movable set of frames and movable assemblies in standard popular software, that will have these configurable frames & pre-defined assemblies set up in it.
The project is to undertake the entirety of the above, design and set up everything in popular software, to enable a low-skilled user to readily produce the above architectural drawings.
There are approximately 20 items in total – standard joists and columns, standard bolts and nuts, connectors, plates, a window unit and a floor unit that are moved and placed to create finished frames.
The design of the software solution is to be:
- Well designed quality solution that can be efficiently maintained going forward
- Based on popular readily available software for which talent is available
- Hardened frames and assemblies that are not readily altered – planned or in error
- Operated by a user that is NOT skilled in architectural nor drawing software
Suit capable and experienced mechanical engineer
Work product will be property of client, and there is a requirement to sign a simple document to that effect. You can display a partial view of the work in your portfolio.
