Compact Box Build Layout Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Scope of Work:
Internal Packaging: Arrange all electronic components (PCBA, display module, speakers, cooling system) within the device.
Mounting & Fastening: Design precise mounting points (bosses/screws) for the PCBA and the pre-assembled display module.
Thermal Management: Ensure correct alignment for heatsinks, heat pipes, and ventilation ports for optimal cooling.
Port Alignment: Precise cutouts for USB, Type-C, Audio, and Power ports.
DFM (Design for Manufacturing): Prepare the design for CNC or Injection Molding (considering draft angles, wall thickness, and tolerances).
Requirements:
Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360.
Experience with "Box Build" assembly and consumer electronics.
Ability to work with .STEP files and provide 2D technical drawings for the factory.
Understanding of tolerances for small-batch production.
Deliverables:
Master 3D Assembly (.STEP / .STP).
Internal shell dimensions and mounting scheme for the factory.
Bill of Materials (BOM) for fasteners (screws, spacers).
