am reaching out to inquire about obtaining a quote for a garage project that I am assisting a client with.
We are interested in a garage structure measuring 26 feet in length and 12 feet in width. The design specifications include an 8-foot wide by 7-foot tall garage door opening, which should be situated on the north-facing wall of the structure.
Additionally, an entry door is planned for the west side, positioned approximately 7 to 8 feet from the front of the building. On the south end wall, there should be a 6' x 6' window to allow for natural light.
The client's design preferences also involve a 4.5 to 6-foot vaulted gable roof. Moreover, they would like a roof extension of 3 to 4 feet over the entry door area to provide ample coverage. For the exterior siding, we are considering Quadra cedar siding, and the choice between shingles and metal roofing will be determined based on cost considerations.
