I need a residential construction engineer for 3 basement windows
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a house plan that has 3 basement windows that need an "engineered stamp drawing" because the openings are wider than 1.2 m.
This is part of 9.15.4.3 of the Alberta Building code.
"3) Unless the wall around an opening is reinforced to withstand earth pressure, the portion of the foundation wall beneath an opening shall be considered laterally unsupported."
What I need is an engineered stamped drawing describing the reinforced rebar needed for the 3 windows. Attached is the basement plan.
