I need a Structural engineer for signoff on the odd deck design
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I am a landscape design builder, and require engineering on a couple of my projects.
One is a 2.5m high deck where I want to cantilever 2 bearers about 600mm, which falls outside of 3604, and get advice on bracing design. This is for a consent package to the Wellington City Council.
The other is a basic steel pergola on a rooftop which needs wind loading calcs done to determine it won't blow away (not consented, just to satisfy the body corporate) It is anchored by corten planters and a bench. It is to be based on wind region A of the Façade ULS wind pressures sheet 22587 WP1 A.
