institutional design

The mandate for the proposed institution is to offer world‐class design education and to promote design awareness and
application towards raising the quality of life. The school aims to create design professionals of excellence to help meet diverse
design needs of our society. The intent of the design project is to expose the students to the complexities of campus planning
specially with respect to institution campus and educate themselves regarding nature of urban institutions. It enables students to
explore physical site planning strategies and resource management on site. Art being an inseparable parameter of human
existence has always tuned the socio‐cultural advancements of our society. Taking this opportunity of co‐existing fraternities
within the larger campus of the University, it is proposed to understand tthe importance of campus planning with multiple
building typologies with respect to urban institutions. The design problem aims to explore various possibilities of relationship
between built and un‐built spaces on site. It is expected that the students explore the landscape planning to strenghten the
structure of campus along with, advanced building construction and building services to be integrated with campus planning.
