I like to convert my single garage to a bedroom with bathroom for my disable son. I like to remove garage door and have window instead and one door between garage and main building and one door to garden. house is semidetached and garage is attached to house and is semidetached too.
So I apply for certificate of lawfulness but my local council asked for following points. I would like to know please if you can help about them and if it can be done online and how long will it take.
1) Please submit existing elevations (showing the property as it looks now). All elevations
from which it will be possible to view the new development should be shown. These
drawings should be scaled at 1:50 or 1:100 and show all openings (windows and doors).
2) Please submit proposed elevations (showing the property as it will appear once the
development has been carried out). All elevations from which the new development can
be viewed should be shown. These drawings should be scaled at 1:50 or 1:100 and show
all openings (windows and doors).
3) Please annotate proposed materials on the drawing.

all adjoining properties and roads, with your property boundaries outlined in red. Please
ensure that the plan shows two named roads and a north arrow. The Location Plan will
also require a scale bar. Copies of Ordnance Survey Extracts can be obtained direct from
Ordnance Survey or any other licensed Ordnance Survey Partner (these include
www.getmapping.com and www.mfsreprographics.co.uk ).
