A civil engineer is required to redesign a 8-storey concrete building, including a basement, ground floor, and 6 floors, with roof rooms.
Scope of Work
Calculate the amount of concrete and steel reinforcement used in the old design.
Redesign the entire building with a new, more compact column layout, without making any changes to the architectural drawings. The following specifications should be met:

Calculate the amount of concrete and steel reinforcement for each design.
Prepare a detailed calculation note for each design, stamped with a union seal, preferably from a consultant.
Prepare shop drawings (construction drawings) in AutoCAD for each design.
The designer must be available to discuss the design with the consultant in Cairo for a maximum of two visits, if necessary.
Available Data
Architectural drawings of the building.
Loading test report for the replacement soil.
Construction drawings of the old design.

The building area is 800 square meters.
Terms and Conditions
All deliverables must be submitted within 30 days of project acceptance.
All deliverables must meet the applicable safety and quality standards in Egypt.
The civil engineer shall be responsible for the technical aspects of all deliverables.
