Project Title: Redesign of 46-Meter Safari Yacht for Multi-Use (Private & Safari)**
**Project Overview:**
We are seeking professional yacht designers to bid on the inital redesign of a 46-meter safari yacht. The current design is in AutoCAD 2D format and primarily tailored for safari use.
At this stage we need nothing more than the 2D concept redesign ( you can suggest 1 to 2 meter increase in yacht size if technically needed at max although not recommended)
The goal of this project is to transform the yacht into a versatile, multi-use vessel that seamlessly blends luxury private use with functional safari capabilities.
**Scope of Work:**
1. **Design Assessment:**
- Review the existing 2D AutoCAD plans of the yacht.
- Evaluate the current design’s strengths and areas that need modification to accommodate dual-use functionality.
2. **Conceptual Design:**
- Develop innovative design concepts that allow the yacht to be easily reconfigured or adapted for both private leisure and safari expeditions.
- Ensure that the design maintains high standards of luxury, comfort, and safety for private use, while also incorporating robust, functional elements for safari expeditions.
3. **Interior and Exterior Redesign:**
- Propose layout changes or modifications to existing spaces to enhance their versatility for both uses.
- Considerations for the interior should include abilities for luxurious accommodations, servises and entertainment areas, and functional storage for safari equipment.
- keep the idea of beach club including swimming pool and diving area and tanks also while sailing storage for 2 zodiac
- Exterior modifications may include spaces for enhanced deck areas for relaxation and entertainment, and robust facilities for launching and storing watercraft and safari equipment.
4. **Engineering and Technical Specifications:**
- Ensure that all inital 2D design proposals ability to later comply with relevant maritime safety and environmental standards when that time for more detailed design is requested.
- Provide inital suggestions for detailed technical specifications and engineering considerations for the proposed modifications.
5. **Presentation and Deliverables:**
- Provide Updated redesign as requested above .
- if 1st stage is approved we may request later fto Provide 3D renderings, detailed drawings, and material specifications for the proposed design.
- Also if initially approved we may request comprehensive design package that can be handed over to shipbuilders for implementation.
6. If there's any improvement to the general yacht overall looks to meet the new functional and straight lines sleek designes in the market.
**Submission Requirements:**
- Portfolio showcasing previous yacht designs, particularly any experience with multi-use or safari-oriented and luxurious yachts.
- Detailed proposal including your approach to the project, timeline, and budget estimate.
- References from past clients or projects.
**Project Timeline:**
The redesign project is expected to commence Monday 2 September 2024 and be completed by Monday16 September2024. Please include a detailed timeline in your proposal.
**Budget:**
Please provide a detailed cost estimate as part of your submission.
**Selection Criteria:**
