Wastewater Detail Drawings Design
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
ENVR is a Brisbane based company that designs and constructs commercial wastewater treatment plants in Queensland and Northern Territory. ENVR partners with Orenco, a world leading provider of wastewater equipment.
Design drawings are required at various stages, from 'preliminary concept design' to 'as constructed'.
ENVR is seeking an experienced Draftsman to amend various existing drawings sets of current projects and create new detail design drawing sets for several new and upcoming wastewater treatment projects we have in the pipeline.
All drawings to date have been developed by a freelance draftsman, who is currently overseas for an extended period. ENVR requires a draftsman to assist in the next few months, and possibly ongoing.
Key Requirements:
- To be able to work 'in house' at ENVRs office in Stafford, Queensland, at various stages but at a minimum in the beginning or when detailed design is underway. ENVR has Auto-CAD software subscription, or you are welcome to bring your own computer - whatever is preferred.
AutoCad: All ENVRs drawings have been developed through AutoCad, with templates created for ease of use.
- Design Drawings: These will need to encompass detailed system design with hydrualic layouts, equipment specifications, structural components, and overall site set-out plans.
- Type of Drawings: various - from initial design, detailed design and as-constructed.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in creating mechanical, electrical and construction detail drawings
- Ability to use and/or have access to Auto-CAD or CAD compatible software systems
- Understanding of or experience in producing design drawings for wastewater systems and components (or similar) would be preferred
The final drawings should be delivered in PDF format. The expected number of drawings needed is between 5 to 20 depending on the size of the project. Please ensure all drawings are compatible with Orenco's guidelines and standards.
The expected timeline for the completion of the drawings is short where there are only amendments, or longer, if new project, between 1-3 months.
An initial in-person meetings would be preferred when commencing design, with online meetings or emails to share updates and receive feedback.
