Warehouse Design for Non-Perishable Storage

Job ID: 37673981

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm seeking a knowledgeable individual who can produce building drawings for a 40 x 100 ft storage warehouse w/ a materials list. The warehouse will specifically serve the purpose of storing non-perishable goods, mostly wine after bottling and pallets of supplies to include empty bottles. The building is on agricultural property in Tennessee and building permits and building codes do not apply. An electrical permit will be required.

Requirements and features are:

- Incorporating high ceilings, 16 feet, for effective stack storage.
- Concrete floor, Stick frame construction, 2x6 studs, roof trusses w/ 4/12 pitch, OSB interior, HVAC, LED lighting, metal roofing and sides, two 10 foot openings (drive-in) and a 36 in. entrance door. R21 walls and R30 ceiling.
- Ability to create a functional, practical, and efficient space for the operation.

Recommended skills and experience:

- Proficiency in creating technical drawings, along with a relative understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Prior experience with similar projects involving non-perishable goods storage.
- Creative problem-solving skills to design a warehouse that maximizes space.

This project requires a completion of a relatively simple set drawings with a materials list that will be used in a grant application. If the grant is successful, a more detailed set of drawings may be needed. I look forward to working with someone who can deliver a final product that will meet these specifications.
