Virginia-Based MEP Engineer for Italian Brand
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I'm a technician from an Italian engineering firm seeking a skilled MEP engineer based in Virginia (Tyson). I'm tasked with designing the MEP systems for a store of an Italian fashion brand and need a local expert to:
- Adjust and certify my designs to meet both local and international standards; my plans will contain the MEP plans and the switchboard list (dwg and pdf). I need a MEP certificate Engineer based in USA.
- Potentially manage on-site inspections, though the need for this is currently uncertain.
- Oversee the construction process via phone or video call with the contractor when necessary.
- some (simple) revisions in the case of architectural updates following demolition surveys.
The MEP systems in question span mechanical, electrical, plumbing, smoke detectors and sprinklers (smoke detection and sprinklers are not certain as an assignment, but for fairness I ask you to consider them in your offer). Experience with high-end retail projects will be considered a plus. Your local knowledge of building codes and engineering practices will be crucial to the success of this project.
Consider that this shop is in a Mall, so the MEP design will be probably easy and we will receive the Mall Technical Book Guide.
