Urgent: Experienced Architectural Drafter Needed to Rectify Orthographic Drawings and Design Development Process
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We urgently seek a seasoned architectural drafter to rectify some issues related to a first-year university student's work on an architectural project. We have received professional feedback on this project and are looking for an expert to help us address these.
The project tasks include, but are not limited to:
Concept Testing & Design Development: The current design development process requires adjustment. We need to display the testing of various concept ideas (at least 3x models, sketches etc. as per the brief). Currently, our submission only shows the progress of one idea. Your task would be to investigate and test alternative options.
Final Design Drawings: You will need to create final design drawings as per the brief deliverables, with a focus on maintaining a monochromatic pen base, typically black, and use a specific range of pen thicknesses to denote sections or certain materials and objects. Color and textures can be added later using pen work or digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. But, the base orthographic black and white drawings need to be prepared.
Plans: The task involves creating a final set of plans, from ground to the second floor, including context and occupation. The main building, the column on the ground floor plan, and the building above the dash/dotted line need to be shown on the upper plans, not extracted, rotated and isolated. It is critical to depict the starting point of the ramp on the ground floor and where it stops according to the plan cut line above the floor of the level being viewed (1m above). The central pool of water needs to match on your plans, and the surrounding context should also be demonstrated.
Section/Elevation: The text mentions the rectification of the ramp to a 1:12 gradient by introducing steps along the way. This needs to be shown in the section and elevation drawings. The section and elevation should match each other and should correspond to the plans.
The necessary project files and further detailed information will be provided upon successful agreement with the chosen freelancer. Given the urgency of this project, we're looking for a freelancer who can start immediately and complete the job within a very short timeframe.
Successful applicants must have proven experience in architectural drafting and design development and an ability to interpret and rectify feedback accurately. Please provide samples of previous work where you have made similar improvements and corrections to architectural drafts.
We are looking forward to your applications. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need more information about this project.
